Lucy Lee Flippin is a retired American film and television actress. Flippin grew up in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. She attended Northwestern University and spent a year acting with Holiday on Ice before pursuing her acting career. She then studied theater with Uta Hagen. She first started her career in New York City, where she finally received a number of television commercials and off-Broadway plays, most notably opposite Richard Gere in play A Midsummer Night's Dream of Lincoln Center. On the advice of the agent, she moved to Los Angeles, where she will receive roles in dramas and movies. She is known for her role as Eliza Jane Wilder in the TV series Little House on the Prairie. She also played Fran Castleberry, the sister of Polly Holliday's character in the show Flo.
