One nail technician went all out on a dramatic butterfly design for her client, but despite the impressive results, not everyone was convinced the style was very practical.
The elaborate acrylic design didn't just feature long nails, but two huge butterfly wings, which the nail artist, Rose, sculpted before adding gems for the finishing touch.
After sharing a clip of the nails online the video racked up a whopping 7.4 millions views.
But some viewers were left totally confused by the over the top design.

Most TikTok users couldn't understand why anyone would want nails that are so impractical in the first place.
One wrote: "Hmm how will she use her hands?"
"How are you going to clean yourself in the bathroom? Just asking," a second commented.
And a third joked: "How far can you fly?"
